A simple yet useful project:

I’ve found the need for a 12V barrel splitter for a series of pumps and lights in an automated fish tank water change project. I built a basic board that takes a fused 12V barrel plug and simply splits off to 4 other ports, nothing special.

Future improvements; or complexity, depending on how you look at it, Could include:

1. Adding a micro-controller, high-side current monitors and a 0.96″ OLED to display power consumption on each channel.
2. Individually fused outputs can also be used to allow one channel to fail completely, without cutting out power to the other ports.
